loved this shoot.. adeline (right) is positioned so perfectly to represent all of us at one time or another, the engrossed phone look to the point where a tree could fall and you would still want to say "xx" or something as irrelevant. the interest in this photo comes as i begin to question my own connection to being online and what goodness it actually brings to daily life??? let's go back to letter writing!

a beauty of a day. i wish everyday was like this one. blazing sun, happy market folk, early and easy setup, friends all to myself all day and adriano zumbo macaroons to salivate and devour. the market adventures shall continue. p.s kitty here is a manly local, she and her owner roam the streets daily, her lead is either found dragging behind her or her other position is neatly perched on her owner's shoulder.

got this image from the selby. such an awesome blog. as time rolls on i become more and more excited about setting up shop/home. something i couldn't have fathomed two years ago. i love how this photo depicts a city-dweller in the country. a newtown cafe owner vinting fine wine in the hunter valley.... oh the imagination runs wild!

welcoming my new knit sweater to my mess of a wardrobe. i've been lazy and layering it over a top and jeans, but planning on a slouchy maxi skirt combo any minute. buying a knit in february seemed almost insulting, but with all this bizarre weather in sydney, girl's gotta be prepared.

there are few places i can see myself living, but hillcrest (san diego) had an awesome vibe. this was on a shopping trip to my second home while i was in cali last year, buffalo exchange....

this little van doesn't know it yet, but i'm going to be riding it's ass around oz one day. first stop is santa barbara, cali to pick it up. saw this as we were walking the main drag! it was one of the market dweller's.... the colour was perfect, of course inside was impressive too but couldn't manage an inside papp.
